Personal:

Southern Utah is my place! I was raised in Kanab and lived in Cedar City for a short time while attending Southern Utah University. When it came time for my husband and I to start a family we knew Kanab was the place to be. A year after returning to Kanab my husband and I were blessed with the greatest miracle ever given, a baby girl we named Addisyn Lynn. Our family now includes our dachshund, Sadie, and our turtle, Cruiser. I love living in this tight-knit community, surrounded by people that want to make a difference.

Why I chose prevention:

I absolutely love being a prevention specialist! This job is amazing and very rewarding. I was drawn to prevention at a young age. I would say that I chose this career path, but it chose me. I have seen generations and generations of my family be directly impacted by substance abuse. I am determined to stop the addiction cycle from plaguing my family. I love working with Youth and I am increasingly surprised at the power they have to change the world.
