I am from the small town Orangeville in Emery County. I really had no plan to more but I had the opportunity to attend SUU and have been here ever since then.

Why I chose prevention:
I interned at both Southwest Behavioral Health Center and Canyon Creek Services during my last semester of college. Both really gave me the experience that pushed me towards this field. I feel working through prevention is one of the best ways to directly help your local community. Working through prevention, I have the tools to research and understand what my community struggles with and then support them with resources, education, and sense of connection.
