Personal:
I was born in Ogden, Utah, but started elementary school in Beaver, UT. I have many fond memories of my childhood in Beaver and have always wanted my kids to settle there! I moved to Panguitch, Utah and graduated high school there. I met my husband my senior year and married the summer I graduated. We moved to Orem, Utah where we both attended Utah Valley Community College. I graduated with my Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant. We moved back home to Bryce Valley to work at my husband, Bryce's family business, Ruby's Inn. We started our family and before I knew it, I had six children! I have always been involved with Bryce Valley High School where I was an advisor or coach for different activities. In 2013 we bought a Subway Franchise. I am looking forward to the day we sell it! Soon, I hope. Bryce and I have been married for 33 years and love spending time with our kids and seven grandkids! Although I seem to be pulled in a hundred different directions, I love this wonderful, crazy life I am living.

Why I chose prevention:
I guess I chose prevention because it always seemed like a "fun" job. Little did I know the many different skills and trainings that are involved with it! I am loving it though, and hope to understand it all soon.
