Personal:
I was born and raised here in Southern Utah. I am from the small town of Panguitch where I absolutely loved growing up. I moved to St. George after graduating high school to go to school at Dixie State University. I am now graduated but plan to stay in St. George because I love it here!

Why I chose prevention:
When I went to college and was trying to decide what I wanted to do I really had no clue so I decided to major in the fields that interested me most and that I knew I would be able to apply to my real life. Family has always been so important to me so when I found that I could major in Family Sciences & Human Development I was intrigued! I absolutely loved my classes and this field but after I graduated I had no idea where to start looking. I found an opportunity with Southwest Behavioral Health Center and started connecting ways that it would relate to my field in school that I loved so much. Working with youth and families is so rewarding and that is really what drove me to wanting to start this position and see how much I can learn and grow from it!
