Why I chose prevention:
I chose to work in prevention because I believe in the logic that promotes preventing a problem from happening rather than being stuck with dealing with it at the moment. I want to be involved in making a difference in this community by helping those around me have the skills and the resources available so that they can skillfully prevent unnecessary frustration, tragedy, or helplessness.
