Professional:
​Porter graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. He is currently working on all of his trainings and certificates as he starts this new job and experience in prevention. He will also be working on obtaining a Masters degree.

Hobbies:

• I love to go golfing. I go golfing with my brothers and my friends whenever I can get the chance. I even take my 1-year-old son to the course and it is a good time with him.

• I also like to go hunting, fishing, and Hiking. Being outdoors is a hobby of mine that just brings me joy to be in the mountains and hills. This is also a great way I bond with my family

• I also love to travel and go places with my wife. Exploring new places and spending time together is something that I really enjoying doing and look forward to doing more in the future

Personal:

I am from Southern Utah, Beaver specifically, and I am super excited to be back in my home town working with people from this great community. That is one of the biggest reasons why I wanted a job in Beaver and being a part of this organization is the benefit

Why I chose prevention:

I chose prevention because it is something that I feel I can leave my mark on. I am excited to bring a new voice and experience to the Beaver County prevention and help those in need here.
